Changing Public Perception through CSR Activities: Case Study PT Katingan Indah Utama Kabuau Village Central Kalimantan
The purpose of this research is to explore and evaluate the CSR program activities of PT.Katingan Indah Utama to change the perception of the local people in the surrounding areas in Kabuau The theories that have been used in this research are Corporate Social Responsibility theory, Stakeholder theory, Perception Theory and Corporate reputation theory. The method that has been used in this research is qualitative research. The primary data obtained through in depth interviews and the observation. The secondary data that the researcher received are reports from PT Katingan Indah Utama, the review of literature, books and websites. Based on the research, the conclusion is PT. Katingan Indah Utama has conducted strategic CSR program activities in which confirmed successfully have transformed the perception of the local people towards BPI from negative to positive
